Insurance Information

How does my insurance work?

Charge - What we charge to an insurance company.
Allowed - The total amount an insurance company will cover.
Deductible - The amount set by your insurance company that they require you to pay out of pocket each year before your insurance company  will pay your claim.
Co-Pay - The fee your insurance requires you to pay out of pocket per visit.
Co-Insurance - A percentage of the cost of the visit your insurance company requires you to pay (often called patient responsibility).
In-Network - A provider that has a contract with your insurance company to accept a certain amount of payment and will not bill you for the remaining balance.
Out-of-Network - Providers that do not have a contract with your insurance company and can bill patients directly for the remaining expense of their services.

Billing: Our office will charge your insurance company the total cost per hour, per session. The insurance company then determines your co-pay and pays a percentage of the remaining bill.

Example: Below is an example of what you may see on your insurance bill. We have provided this example to help you understand where your money is going and how payment works.

Insurances we accept: We accept most major insurances. If you do not see your inurance listed, call our office with your insurance information. We continue to add new companies. We can also discuss private pay options.
