Katlyn Shanahan, MSW, LSW
Katlyn Shanahan received her Bachelor's Degree in Social Work from Capital University in 2017. She then received her Master's Degree in Clinical Social Work from Walden University in 2019.
Katlyn has experience serving individual, family and couples counseling. During this time, she enjoyed the opportunity to advocate for clients in any way she could. Katlyn then moved on to serve as a case worker for treatment foster care. Additionally, she has been trained in Trauma Focused-Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).
Katlyn is from Mechanicsburg, Ohio and grew up raising horses. Throughout the summer and autumn Katlyn enjoys showing draft Haflinger horses with her family. In her downtime, she enjoys reading and practicing yoga. Professionally, she has focused on trauma informed practice and her goal is to promote comfortable and joyful living for all her clients.
