Suzanne Sunshine LISW-S
Suzanne earned her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and English from Rutgers University-New Brunswick. She then moved on to earn her MPA in Public Policy and Management from The Ohio State University Fisher College of Business and her MSW in Social Work Administration from The Ohio State University as well.
Suzanne has served in the field of Social Work as an LISW-S for 25+ years. Her area of expertise is trauma therapy using sensory processing, cognitive processing and trauma focused CBT. Suzanne is skilled at making strong connections with clients and staff and truly enjoys helping to make the world a better and safer place for children and adults. She enjoys educating people as much as possible and teaches a theory class at Case Western.
Throughout her career, Suzanne has served as a Social Worker at the Franklin County Children Services, Mental Health Therapist at Directions for Youth and Families, Director of Behavioral Health at Rocking Horse Community Health Center and Adjunct Professor at Case Western Reserve University. Currently Suzanne serves as the Assistant to the CEO for Behavioral Health and Managed Care at Oesterlen-Services for Youth and as a Mental Health Therapist at Alexander and Associates.
When Suzanne is not working, she enjoys reading, hanging out with her children and with her friends, and loves to take on new challenges in life.
